A subtle, extraordinarily refined, mysterious scent of a perfectly balanced melange of smoky and sweet facets that will come back to haunt onlookers, The World According To Arthur by Penhaligon's perfume for men is an amber woody fragrance inspired by the spiritual practices of ancient civilizations of the Far East. Opening gently on comforting creamy note of vanilla intertwined with incense to give it slight woodiness for depth and rounded with a hint of tangy grapefruit for freshness; at the heart aromatic ambrette with a pleasant pear facet melts into herbaceous freshness of clary sage; the seductive dry down carries subtle nuances of nutmeg, toasted almonds, enticing spices and earthy woodsy scents. This is a lighter scent that has a good deal of crossover appeal and can be worn by women and men.
