An elegant cologne, Douro Eau De Portugal by Penhaligon's cologne is an aromatic fragrance for men named after the port producing region of Portugal and inspired by the Douro river. Originally designed in 1911 for Percy Croft of the Croft Port Dynasty, the scent was modernized and reintroduced in 2004. The top notes are bergamot, lavender, mandarin orange, basil and geranium; at the heart are floral notes of neroli and lily-of-the-valley; the dry down is made of notes of labdanum, musk, oakmoss and sandalwood.
