In 2018, Chanel announced that it would be moving its global headquarters to London. Chanel is a luxury company that focuses on high fashion and ready-made clothes, luxury products, jewellery and accessories, and is famous for its simple, elegant designs with their timeless appeal. In 1921, to complement the suit of clothes, Coco Chanel commissioned the perfumer Ernest Beaux to create a perfume for La Maison Chanel. His perfumes included the perfume No.5, named after the number of the sample Chanel liked best. Originally, a bottle of No. 5 de Chanel was a gift to clients of Chanel. Nowadays the iconic Chanel No 5 perfume continues to be the bestseller worldwide. In 1924 the venture capitalist Pierre Wertheimer was introduced to Coco Chanel: their business deal established the Parfums Chanel company, a parfumerie of which Wertheimer owned 70 per cent, Theophile Bader owned 20 per cent, and Chanel owned 10 per cent; commercial success of the joint enterprise was assured by the Chanel name, and by the cachet of la "Maison Chanel" , which remained the sole business province of Coco Chanel. In 1947 Wertheimer, the majority capital stock owner of Parfums Chanel, saw his business interests threatened, and his commercial rights infringed because he did not possess legally exclusive rights to the Chanel name, as a result the contract from 1924 was renegotiated. Pierre Wertheimer bought Bader's 20 per cent share of the Parfums Chanel, which increased the Wertheimer percentage to 90 per cent.Chanel and her spring collection received the Fashion Oscar at the 1957 Fashion Awards in Dallas. Coach
Coach is an American leather goods company created in 1941 in Manhattan, New York. A group of six leather artisans founded the original business, first named Gail Manufacturing Company. In 1946, Miles and Lillian Cahn joined the company. Already experienced in leather goods and handbag manufacturing, and with a good business sense, the Cahns would steer the company in the direction that would help it become one of the most popular American handbag designers.
Miles Cahn took over the Gail Manufacturing Company by 1950. The wallets and small leather goods produced by the company were profitable, but Cahn's interest in new technology and materials helped the business expand into production of women's handbags. In 1961, the Gail Leather Products, Inc. brand was born. The handbags produced by this company bridged the gap between the high-dollar designer pieces and the inexpensive, poor-quality knock-offs that comprised the women's handbag market of the day. Coach used quality cowhide and developed a process that made it both soft and durable, and when designer Bonnie Cashin was brought on board in 1962, the demand for the company's handbags soared.
The collaboration with Cashin lasted until 1974, and her use of color, hardware, pockets and other features revolutionized the company's line. The company also began producing small accessories such as pens and key chains, and expanded into shoes under her direction. In the mid-1970s, Gail Leather Products, Inc. changed its name to Coach Products, Inc.
Coach began offering its products via mail order, and eventually expanded into department stores, specialty stores and partnerships with selected vendors. In 1980, the company changed its name again to Coach Leatherware Company, and in 1985, the company was sold to American food manufacturer Sara Lee Corporation. Under Sara Lee, the Coach brand opened specialty boutiques outside New York and was offering its products through department stores, effectively expanding across America into the company that is recognized today.
Coach was sold by Sara Lee and became a publicly-traded corporation in 2000. Today, there are more than 500 Coach stores in the United States and Canada, and a wholly-owned subsidiary focused on the Japanese market, Coach Japan. Coach is also widely distributed in department stores across the United States and is available in more than 200 stores outside the U.S. market. The company's headquarters remain in Manhattan, and the Coach offering has expanded to include clothing, shoes, eyewear, luggage, non-leather accessories and fragrance.
The first fragrance from Coach, eponymous women's scent Coach, was launched in 2007. Coach fragrances today are offered in conjunction with Estee Lauder Companies.

Lorenzo Villoresi

The designer's love and passion for perfumery, fragrances and spices started while on a journey to the Middle East in 1981 which became the true passion and greatly influenced his work and some of his most important fragrances are inspired by the Orient. The perfumes of Lorenzo Villoresi are born of the founder’s long experience in the realisation of personal fragrances, an activity still practised with ever-growing success. Lorenzo Villoresi creates a number of “monothematic” fragrances as his personal interpretation of classic perfumery themes: refined and exigent, yet are all characterized by very complex formulas and a generous use of precious natural ingredients. Retracing the routes of the Tuscan merchants of the Renaissance, the perfumes of Lorenzo Villoresi represent a universe where the materials. fragrances, and colours of Tuscany meet and harmonise with the spices, essences and influences of the Orient. Of particular note among the components are the essential oils and precious extracts from all over the world, which compliment and exalt the purely Tuscan elements of laurel, olive, cypress, and the precious and rare iris root. All aspects of production are still carried out manually according to traditional methods, requiring time, patience and meticulous care and attention. The potpourri, and in particular the extraordinary Piper Nigrum, are emblematic of the originality and quality which characterise the products of the House of Lorenzo Villoresi. Intensely aromatic woods, pungent peppercorns, nutmeg, incense, lost fragrances, blend in a unique and wonderful olfactory alchemy. Lorenzo Villoresi is best known for his custom-made fragrances and potpourris, and distinguished in that he is an independent perfumer, working outside the big fragrance houses. More recently a new collection inspired by “olfactory visions” that recall exotic and dreaming worlds, atmospheres, landscapes like Piper Nigrum, (the spice route), Teint de Neige (the sophisticated beauty of the Belle Epoque), Dilmun (a Mesopotamian paradise), Yerbamate (an endless prairie with wild herbs and flowers), Alamut (a rich and sumptuous Oriental fragrance) Iperborea (a fresh-soft fragrance inspired by a legendary people of the Great North), Theseus (a fresh, radiant, sunny fragrance, evocative of ancient adventures) and in September 2012 Aura Maris, the sea breeze, the first fragrance of the Mare Nostrum Collection, inspired to the Mediterranean Sea concept. Lorenzo Villoresi was the recipient of the prestigious Prix François Coty in 2006, an "Oscar" award to 'artistes parfumeurs', recognizing perfumers' achievements over their career as well as their most recent creations. Salvador Dali
A revered Spanish Catalan artist, an “over-the-top” genius and iconic figure of surrealism, a luminary with legendary panache, Salvador Dali holds a prominent place in 20th Century Modern Art History. Eccentric to a fault, with a penchant for provocation and unpredictability, he was first and foremost among the most famous iconoclastic and avant-garde artists of our time. In 1983, Salvador Dali launched his first fragrance as a tribute to Gala, his wife and muse with whom he was madly in love. To him, perfume was the "most beautiful messenger" of memories and happy moments... A multi-faceted talent, it was only natural for Salvador Dali to take an interest in fragrance - as it fell somewhere between art and fashion - another form of artistic expression. In 1981, after completing the Apparition of the Aphrodite of Knidos painting, he sketched a perfume bottle, drawing inspiration from the sensual lips and nose of the goddess of beauty and love. It is this sketch that would inspire the Dali fragrance launched in 1983, in a crystal numbered limited edition. Chosen by the Master, the feminine fragrance is a sensuous accord blending the rarest and purest varieties of jasmine, the flower he often wore tucked behind his ear as he painted, and rose. To date more than 25 fragrances and three collections of precious and luxurious fragrances, imagined with all the know-how and the requirements of the High French Perfumery have been produced by the Salvador Dali label. Each collection is inspired by the creations or a facet of the singular and unique world of one of the greatest artists of the history of modern art, Salvador Dalí: The Jewels Collection, The Daligramme Collection, The Fabulous Collection, and many more inspiring perfumes have been and are created by the brand. The fragrances are contained in "sculptured bottles" which are a true work of art that marked the creation of Salvador Dali, still inspired by the artist’s artwork.

SoOud
SoOud is a luxury niche perfume house founded by the famous perfumer Stephan Humbert Lucas in 2010. Since perfume is king of the Orient, Stéphane Humbert Lucas has created soOud to celebrate their heady scents, the sensuality of oriental, raw materials, intriguing and passionate, typical of the Arab world, by blending their olfactory exuberance with the refinement of French perfumery. Much more than a collection of fragrances, soOud is a concept, an idea that grows out of a contemporary cultural reflection. Desire draws us closer to the fascination of the cultures to the east and transforms perfume into an accessory of luxury. In countries where it is the custom to meet women hidden by their tunics and men who dress with flair, it is in fact the perfume that becomes a way of expressing personal individuality. The sensuality of oriental fragrances, intriguing and passionate, typical of the Arab world, encounters a French soul and refined finish in soOud. Precious essences are dedicated to the exploration of the senses, divided into two lines: Nektar, genuine high-concentration with rich and precious extracts; and Eau Fine, lighter, more impalpable and delicate on the skin. The names chosen for the perfumes are the phonetic translations of Arabic words: on every package you can discover the meaning in English and French. Every fragrance praises inner beauty, and the bottles are almost entirely lacquered – except for the central part where a strip of transparent glass appears – to remind us of the niqab veil, which leaves a glimpse of only the eyes of the person who wears it. The stopper, half cut, recalls the sloping points of modern buildings in the Middle East, completing a masterful blend of traditions and contemporaneity. soOud evokes an invitation to discover the intrinsic mystery of every perfume, beyond all dogma or ideology. soOud is an evocative collection of accords designed to delight your senses with the deepest and warmest notes. The fragrances are divided into Parfum Nectar collection and Eaux Fines. They all praise the hidden beauty of the female: the oriental veil niquab served as an inspiration of mystery and beauty. Designer SoOud has 14 perfumes in our fragrance base. SoOud is a new fragrance brand. The earliest edition was created in 2010 and the newest is from 2016.
