Maison Francis Kurkdjian

A niche French perfume house Masion Francis Kurkdjian was founded in 2009 in Paris, France, by Francis Kurkdjian, an French perfume designer, and Marc Chaya, a Lebanese/French businessman. In 1995, at the age of twenty-six, Francis Kurkdjian created Le Male for Jean Paul Gaultier. He also lended his talent re-creating Marie Antoinette’s favorite perfume for Palace of Versailles, going back in time to the early 17th century and the sources of perfumery. Advocates of haute parfumerie traditionalism, the designer offers fragrances which reflect a sense of timeless sophistication and beautiful expressions of sensuality, going against the trend of perfume democratization. The house's diverse collections of exquisitely-crafted fragrances range from the musky Baccarat Rouge to Turkish rose-based Satin, perfectly balancing the line between practicality and creativity, to personify every individual mood and whim. Today designer Maison Francis Kurkdjian has 45 perfumes in its fragrance base, the earliest edition created in 2009 and the latest editions - Gentle Fluidity Gold and Gentle Fluidity Silver released in 2019. The Maison Francis Kurkdjian is now a major player in the niche luxury fragrance segment with more than 300 locations worldwide.
